Conan from Georgia
For the last three years, Conan O'Brien has lived with Cindy Romaniello at the rescue centre she runs for Jack Russells in Atlanta, together with Pee Wee the Chihuahua and a retired racing greyhound. Cindy rescued Conan when, after two owners, he found himself in Afghan Rescue in Georgia. He is now a Canine Good Citizen and visits a children's and a veterans' hospital, where they so look foward to seeing the 'big grey dog'.

He has a particular talent for breaking up fights among the Jacks. He gets in the middle and grabs a scruff, and as soon as the 'grabbed' Jack releases his victim, Conan flings him in the air. Cindy and her husband tried to hold him back initially, but he insists on taking control and has saved her from many a bite. It's as though he is programmed: Jack fight, grab scruff, fling dog, fight stops, mom doesn't get bitten.

He is Cindy's constant companion and guard dog, the greatest dog she ever had.
