Cormac from Leicestershire |

September 2004 Cormac already knows his place in the household, at the top !! He managed to phone the police while John's back was turned; he's discovered that human food is better than dog food and he's tasted his first ice cream - oh dear!!! Thank goodness it's nearly winter!! He is growing by the minute and is losing his puppyness already but a character is really starting to show. |

October 2004 Dear Hogan, I see your predecessor, Chewbacca, was a specialist in soil removal. I have tried that and it is great fun, as is removing flower heads from as many bushes as possible. You'll find that this is the sleeping position that gets the most attention, as well as the odd treat - it's certainly worth a try. Yours, Cormac |

November 2004 Here, Cormac demonstrates the innocent look which every wolfhound puppy needs when something in the house has gone missing. You'll notice that Cormac has perfected the technique with the addition of a slight smile - a stroke of pure genius as it's guaranteed to make any parent, however exasperated, totally incapable of issuing a telling off. |
December 2004 Dear Hogan How is life with you? I seem to have got control of these legs now and am starting to bounce around and run around pretty fast. Boss can not keep up with me now! I have a problem mate - Boss has put me out on guard, apparently I am old enough now.Can you ask your big mate what I am guarding against? the post lady brings me treats, so it can't be her! How will I recognise it when I need to guard against it? What do I do when I find it? I am sitting out here alert and waiting just in case, any help would be gratefully received. Yours, Cormac |

March 2005 Cormac has had a rough time lately as he had to have surgery for a shoulder injury, and then even worse - rest for several weeks. He's now thankfully well on the road to recovery and feeling very full of himself. Even though he has been through a lot of pain, he's still a big baby and loves everyone, and the injury hasn't slowed his growth - he now measures approximately 37"! |

"Mum and Dad went to Crufts to see all my mates and all I got was a bowl. It didn't
even have any food in it when they gave it to me!" |
