Gray, Cerne and their daughter, Holly, live with Heather Gould in Wellington, South
Africa. Gray, who loves everyone, was born on 13 August 2001, and was named after Heather's mother. |
Conveniently, Cerne was also born on 13 August, the following year. She is named
after Heather's original home, the town of Cerne Abbas in Dorset, England, and
loves to sit on people's laps! |
In July 2005, Cerne had a litter of four puppies, fathered by Gray. Heather kept
a bitch puppy from the litter, the third member of the family, Holly. |
As a result of Holly's efforts, Heather's back garden is now a nine-hole golf course,
and at ten months old she still loves to tear things up. Heather has lost
so many tea towels she's stopped counting! Holly loves to tease her parents, and Gray is just learning now to play back with her - he was a little frightened of this small puppy to begin with, but now she has grown things are different. Holly has got her show career off to a great start, winning Best Puppy in Show at an Open Show on 30 April 2006. |
