The Cawthorne family has 120 acres in south east Queensland, and Jacquelynne's parents wouldn't let her walk the kilometre to the front gate on her own so she would take Gypsy with her. They would walk along, Gypsy staying close to Jacquelynne while Jacquelynne talked to her, treating Gypsy as a best friend. She will forever be Jacquelynne's best wolfhound and will never leave her heart.
Gypsy
Gypsy was a good mother, giving birth to three large litters. In her second litter was a beautiful boy, whom Jacquelynne called Patches (third from the right), with a white map of Australia on his chest and a bitch, Beauty (far right), who was adorable, and was to be Jacquelynne's own wolfhound. Patches went to live with Jacquelynne's grandmother, but sadly, finances dictated that Beauty had to be sold.

Gypsy's death nearly broke Jacquelynne's heart: Gypsy had been her companion and her friend, she so lovely, ladylike, gentle, affectionate . . . she was everything a wolfhound should be.
