Dancing is a popular pastime among wolfhounds.
After attending
ballet lessons as youngsters, a competent
pas de deux should be possible. The proficient may go on to try their paw at
ballroom,
country dancing,
modern dance,
limbo or
square dancing.
Those with no ear for music may prefer yoga, where they can take part at
beginner,
junior,
intermediate,
senior or
advanced level.
More active, outdoor pursuits will appeal to the hound with a spirit of adventure, such as
hunting,
exploring,
hill walking,
boating
or, for the truly adventurous spirit,
white-water walking,
mountaineering or
flying.
Less physically demanding pursuits include
sun-bathing,
origami,
bird-watching,
carpentry,
reading,
flower arranging,
fishing,
collecting antiques,
the study of local history,
singing lessons and
watching TV,
whilst those who have retained their sense of fun into maturity may still enjoy a game of
hide & seek.
Of course, some will prefer simply to
rest quietly in congenial company, and even
share a hug together.
