Kas and Madden from Ontario

Known as "The Duppies" (dumb puppies!) Kas (means "curly haired", also known as Princess) and Madden (means "little dog", also known as Muffin Head) live with Alita Jones and her mother, Karen, in Flamborough, Ontario. Their early days were spent under the watchful eye of Alita and Karen's first wolfhound, Megan.

Favourite pursuits include guarding the house from the living room couch (big window), chasing (but not catching!) deer and chasing the house cat (and licking him thoroughly). Favourite treats include any type of fruit, peanut butter, and anything stolen off the kitchen counter.

In short, they rule the house, the couch, the car . . . and the family's  hearts.

Canadian winter
Canada is having a strange winter - cold and more snow than for the last ten years, then suddenly warm and everything melts, then snow again and the temperature drops to -27 deg C with the wind-chill!
The duppies aren't complaining though . . .
