Torteval Irish Wolfhounds

Odin had a great Christmas, with lots of presents including his favourite smoked pigs' ears and a whole new tube of tennis balls. He also got to wear his Christmas hat, and the expression on his face shows just how much he enjoyed that!

There have been reports of a strange meteorological phenomenon in Norway: a tornado, which hit the Kristians' house while they were out. It was a very selective tornado, as it opened a dresser drawer and shredded the contents but did no other damage to the house or garden. You can see that Odin was as thoroughly perplexed by this bizarre event as Sylvia and Lars were when they came home. He may have been a little worried that he would get the blame for causing the mess, when in fact, as all wolfhound owners will understand, all he was doing was trying to clear it up!

Some of Odin's friends took part in the Norwegian Irish Wolfhound Specialty Show in Trondheim. Anoubis (his best friend) got a first but hated being in the ring, and didn't quite understand why her mum made her do it instead of just letting her run around with Odin as usual; Felix, on the other hand, LOVED the ring, and if there were a prize for most confident youngster he would definitely win; and the lovely red-head Tara got a first and a very nice critique.

Odin himself couldn't join in since he has only one lonely testicle, but was happy to show the others how it should be done!

Phonak (named after a cycle team in the Tour de France as Lars & Sylvia are cycle fanatics).

Born on 2 June, Phonak's hobby is discovering new and unusual sleeping positions!

Snow has finally arrived in Norway. Phonak couldn't figure out what to do with it at first, then he decided to eat it all! He didn't manage to clear Sylvia and Lars's garden but he did discover that snow is great fun to play in and gets Odin to join in on his silly games!
