Silver from Nova Scotia |
Born in August 2006, Silver is the fulfilment of a life-long dream for Sandra Gunther's
mother, Giselle. She had always loved Irish wolfhounds and Silver was the
family's gift to her when she moved in with them. The rest of the family comprises Sandra's husband, Dana, their children, Daniel and Angelina, two part-labs, Cinnamon and Oreo, four horses, four cats and seven chickens. They run a B & B and equestrian facility in the heart of the beautiful Annapolis Valley, with 30 acres of gardens, horse pasture and forest, and beaches nearby, which the dogs love. Guests who are interested in wolfhounds are particularly welcome. Silver and the labs get along quite well, although they understand something different when it comes to play time - the labs chase the ball and Silver chases the one who has the ball. Silver's litter sister, Saige, lives an hour away, so sometimes they both get to have an equal partner to play with. Silver is funny and extremely affectionate, sweet to everyone, never pushy or dominant, and very much loved. |
