The Kennel Club Standard (right) lists the features which define the Irish wolfhound, and is the measure against which a dog is judged in the show ring.
We've illustrated the Standard to show how we think a wolfhound should (and in some case, should not) look, and for those of you who, like us, know that your wolfhound just doesn't stack up, we've taken the liberty of doing a little re-writing. We've included in our version some points which definitely don't appear in the original, but which we respectfully submit the Kennel Club may wish to consider for inclusion when next they review the standard . . .
