Barney 1992 ~ November 2001 Barney lived with Dave Stuart in Aberdeen. He was was blind in one eye from an early age, which gave him a good excuse for knocking Davey over every now and then. He developed cancer in his front legs and died aged nine. |
Marty 1995 ~ 2002 A Canadian champion, Marty was the beloved hound of Jorgan van Zsidy and Huguette Rainforth of Montreal. The photo shows Camilla and Anastasia beside Marty's grave, where Anastasia remained for two days. |
Elffin 12 October 1993 ~ 25 April 2001 Elffin lived with ourfriends, Nick and Maria Eggleston. He was McGinty's and Clancy's best mate, and a much loved 'nephew' to us. Known and loved for his scruffy appearance and stubborn nature, he died at home at the age of seven. |
Caomh 29 October 1996 ~ 9 May 2001 Joan and Steve Gardner's second wolfhound, Caomh (gaelic for loved) escaped from the garden one night and must have tripped and broken his neck. It took five weeks to find his remains, which was a most dreadful time. The entire local community rallied to search for him, and everybody was so kind. He was only four years old. |
Bax 11 Nov 1996 ~ 4 Nov 2002 Bax was the great friend and companion of Marc Fürstenceller of the Czech Republic. Whenever Marc had a bad day he would look into Bax's big brown wolfhound eyes and his troubles would vanish.
