   Odin
7 April 2003 - 30 Jan 2007

Odin was the first, much loved, wolfhound of Sylvia and Lars Kristian Granlund of Norway, their precious 'little' boy. After much deliberation and heartache they made the toughest decision of their lives - to have their best friend and companion put to sleep. They miss him so much, and he will always have a special place in their hearts.

Wilson
12 July 2002 - 17 Feb 2007

Described by his 'mom', Terri Colburn, as the 'sweetest, silliest boy ever', Wilson had a vital personality and friends all over his part of Denver, Colorado. Even bus drivers honked and waved when they saw him! Sadly, he had several major health problems, and died peacefully in Terri's arms at the age of just four and a half.

Ansa
26 June 2001 - 20 Feb 2007

Ansa (a Gaelic name meaning much, or more loved) lived with and was greatly loved by Joan Gardner in Jersey. He was a big, beautiful boy, weighing 180 lb and standing 38" at the shoulder. A very special boy, he will be greatly missed by Joan and all who knew and loved him.

Vincent
17 April 2003 - 12 May 2007

A litter brother to our Branigan, Vincent was the much loved wolfhound of Jaromír Hradil and his family of the Czech Republic, and the very special 'friend' of Edita Dobrovolna, who handled him to great success in the show rings of Europe. His sudden death from bone cancer at the age of just four was a great shock to all who knew and loved this wonderful, charismatic boy.

   Devlin
June 2003 - May 2007

Devlin stole the hearts of Terrance & Diane Schaffer right from the beginning. He was full of energy and life and shone so brightly. The runt of the litter, he was all puppy, playing with their labrador as though he would never stop. The day after Terrance & Diane left for Europe on vacation Devlin died, at just under four years of age. They came home with no Devlin there to greet them, and to this day they don't know why he died.

Wulf
15 May 2005 -18 June 2007

The first wolfhound of Laura Simmons of Texas, Wulf was everything she could have asked for - and more. He died at just two years old following a diagnosis of hemangio- sarcoma, but has left behind memories of smiles and laughter.

Max
20 Feb 2005 - 18 July 2007

Max (pictured as a pup) was the fourth wolfhound of Joan McAuley and her husband, of Hamilton, Canada. He was a very loving and lovable dog, but suffered from several health problems. By the age of two intractable pain had so reduced his quality of life that the McAuleys were left with no option but to euthanize him. As a result of his ill health he never grew beyond 30", and weighed just 85lb.
Tally
1 Jan 2004 - 11 August 2007

Tally was the 'best girl' of Meredith and Steve Robinson of Sydney, and their baby daughter thought she was the best thing in the world. Tally had to deal with many health problems, from allergies to OCD, but was stoic and happy-go-lucky throughout. Even the bone cancer which caused her death at just three-and-a-half barely slowed her until the end. They will carry her in their hearts forever.

Hazard
April 2002 - 29 August 2007

Hazard was the greatest joy of Bog and Ken Evans' lives. He was named when Bog's father said, 'when that dog grows up he's going to be a bl**dy hazard'. He lived on an RAF station where he had permission to chase all the hares and rabbits when there was no flying. He thought trying to bag a military jet would be cool but Ken didn't think his insurance would cover it! He was put to sleep after developing bone cancer at the age of five.

Kvisto
10 Sept 2002  - 14 Oct 2007

The second wolfhound of Petra Omahen of Slovenia, Kvisto had a wonderful personality and a great appetite for life. He loved meeting new people and travelling, and adored going to dog shows - no surprise that he was a multi-champion. His sudden and totally unexpected death at the age of just five came as a great shock to all who knew and loved him.

Shea
18 Nov 2005  - 6 Nov 2007

Beautiful Shea was the first wolfhound of Lauren and Sean Hunt of Memphis, Tennessee. Sadly, her health was poor from an early age, although she made a good recovery from corrective surgery for liver shunt. A very special girl who brought so much joy to Lauren and Sean's lives, Shea lost her last battle shortly before her second birthday.

Riley
1 February 1994  - 8 Nov 2007

Riley joined Rick and Pat Herman of Wisconsin at the age of eight months. He was their first wolfhound - and what an introduction to the breed! His presence graced their lives for the next magnificent twelve years, ending only when a progressive spinal problem rendered him unable to get around. He taught them courage and perseverance, and changed their lives forever.

Megan
May 1998 - 30 Dec 2007

Megan (aka Maggie, Piggie, Pegleg, Peggle etc) was the first wolfhound of Alita and Karen Jones of Ontario, who adopted her at the age of five. She had immaculate manners and was very patient with her new owners who hadn't a clue. After a long fight with a failing immune system, Megan was put to sleep at the age of nine- and-a-half.
