Octan was Anna Blom's best friend, a rock of solid calm in a crazy and stressful world. At the age of eight he was still in great shape and running like a wind when he tore a ligament in the wrist of his front paw. Complex surgery led to a multiresistant bacterial infection which caused his death six months later.

Molly lived with Brian and Gill Oliver in Fuengirola, Spain, and was their third, much loved wolfhound. She died just two days before her seventh birthday, shortly after being diagnosed with cancer of the hock. Molly will never be forgotton, a beautiful, cuddly
girl who loved to be the boss!

Known collectively as
"The Duppies" (dumb puppies!) Kas (also known as Princess), who died suddenly from heart failure, and Madden (aka Muffin Head) lived with Alita Jones and her mother, Karen, in Ontario. Although not related, they arrived together as puppies, their early days spent under the watchful eye of Alita and Karen's first wolfhound, Megan.

 Cara

Cara (Gaelic for 'friend') was Pat Herman's heart-hound - that one, very special wolfhound who transcends all the norms of love and loyalty in a dog. Cara's death from bone cancer at just six years old was a shocking blow, and one that will reverberate in Pat's heart for many years to come. There will be other wolfhounds for the Hermans, but certainly never one quite like Cara.

Gray lived with Heather Gould in Wellington, South Africa. He was such a special boy and loved everyone. He was named after Heather's mother. In 2005, he fathered a litter of four wonderful puppies. He died aged 9 years and 11 months, leaving Heather heart-broken, but with many wonderful memories.

 Feegle

Feegle was the first wolfhound of Debs & Chris Brown. He passed away from bloat leaving such a huge hole in Debs' life. He was a real mummy's boy, going everywhere with Debs, even to work. He was such a gentle, easy going, friendly boy, loved by all. Debs has lost her best friend, soul mate and constant companion. The house is empty and nothing works without him. He will be in her heart forever.

Silver was the fulfillment of a life long dream for Sandra Gunther's mother, Giselle. She had always loved wolfhounds and Silver was the family's gift to her. She died as a result of heart disease just before her 5th birthday. She made the whole family laugh, and they will always remember her lovely personality.

 Keelin

Rehomed at the age of three by Patricia and Rick Herman, and so very greatly loved, Keelin fought ill-health for a year before finally letting Pat know she was ready to leave her forever. She was a sweet and gentle girl, playful and affectionate, who will never be forgotten, always loved, and who taught them much.
Here for too short of a time.
